RHEON Armour

Working as an in-house digital marketer adds; supporting events, client pitches, and brochure support, to large product launches. Nowhere is that more true than for owed branded items. The RHEON Armour Collection has launched a few times with different clients and each one has added to a toolbox of modular assets that we can use to market any of the target audiences.

Protective equipment is a competitive space so brand differentiation is important. When I am creating assets for this range, spend a lot of time experimenting with different ways to show the product, and product benefits.

Cinematic art direction and abstract presentation help to differentiate from the didactic and simple visualisation of others in the landscape. I work to update the style and refine it every year, pushing the boat out more and more.

Born Out of NASA Campaign

A series of posters created to demonstrate the RHEON Armour range in some unique ways. I really enjoyed working on the first image, the drop rig. It was really nice to revisit it a couple of years after making the first assets with it and I upped the realism as much as possible.

I was focussing on cinematic feelings and showing the product in unexpected ways. Each image started looking at a single feature of the design and extrapolated it. The naturally inspired design combined with flexibility to create the fern poster for example.

Trade show teaser.

There was a focus here to maximize the impact of the content whilst minimizing lift. Content is repurposed from R&D, the final content and some simple still renders and macro photos. This reduced the overall lift and meant that the post-launch support could continue for a few weeks with 2 posts a week.

Product Brochure

Product brochures are a great chance to grab a potential customer's attention and should make it as easy as possible to convert them.

Harley Davidson Launch

One example of a specific launch that benefitted from a modular approach was the Harley Davidson launch.

The parts being black was an important requirement for the marketing support and this is when a modular work style came into its own. I was able to take previous animations and with some changes to lighting and materials, I was able to output these animations quickly.
